Requirements for Practising in Alberta

Whether you come from Canada or abroad, you will likely have questions regarding the launch of a medical career in Alberta. The Licensing and Examinations sections available on the left provide a brief overview related to the requirements for practice in Alberta.

For physicians who launch their practice in the rural sections of the province, the Orientation Guide to Medical Practice and Life in Rural Alberta is provided by RPAP and available on its main web site.
